Thriving Kids in the NT

What you need to know

Thriving Kids is a new national initiative that will help children and families access support earlier, when it can make the biggest difference.

The initiative is set to roll out from the 1st October with the aim to help children aged 8 years and under with developmental delay, autism and low to moderate support needs.

-It is a coordinated, child & family centered approach to provide access to help earlier when developmental concerns emerge.

-You do not need a diagnosis to be involved in Thriving Kids enabling families to access early intervention services in the community.

- It is not replacing the NDIS. The NDIS will continue to support eligible children with permanent and significant disability or those with higher support needs.
